Welcome to Kindergarten at Ho'okele Elementary. My name is Ms. Ponce and I will be your child's Kindergarten teacher for 2015 - 2016 school year. I graduated from the University of Hawaii. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught K-2.
Kindergarten will be the foundation of your child's first school experience. This year will be educational, challenging, but most of all - fun! I believe that the communication between the teacher and parents is very important. Please use this website for important reminders, announcements and homework. I know that with the cooperative efforts between the school, parents and teacher we'll have a successful and productive year!
